A plant biostimulant is defined as a substance or micro organism that, when applied to seeds, plants or rhizosphere, stimulates natural processes to enhance or benefit:

  • nutrient uptake
  • nutrient efficiency
  • tolerance to abiotic stress
  • crop quality
  • yield
