ATP Welcomes Russ Patterson as CFO and COO

ATP Nutrition is excited to announce that Russ Patterson has joined the team as Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer.

Russ is an accomplished finance executive whose previous experiences include leadership roles in global agricultural companies such as Monsanto and Bayer.  At ATP, Russ will work alongside the management team leading the Finance and Operations groups to drive the financial planning and strategic growth by assessing new business opportunities.

“Russ’s strong leadership experience will help grow ATP as a key player in the plant nutrition and biostimulant broad acre market in North America,” said Jarrett Chambers, President, ATP Nutrition. “Russ’s extensive agricultural experience and business development skills will strengthen ATP channel partnerships, develop strategic alliances and expand our international sales presence.”

Russ began his agriculture career with Monsanto Canada, leading the financial planning and analysis group and then spent four years as CFO.  Russ relocated to St.Louis, MO to serve as Director of Finance for the Global Crop Protection Division of Monsanto Company, which included the BioAg Alliance between Monsanto and Novozymes. In addition, he held roles as Director of Finance for the R&D Portfolio and Director of North America and Global Credit of Monsanto Company. Most recently Russ held the role of Director of Global Credit and Customer Financing for Bayer Crop Science. 

Russ grew up just outside of Winnipeg in Ile des Chenes, Manitoba. He earned Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and Master of Accountancy degrees from the University of Manitoba and holds a CPA, CA accounting designation.

Russ is eager to bring his finance leadership, commercial experience and passion for agriculture to ATP Nutrition.

Russ lives in Winnipeg with his wife Cristina and their 4 children. He stays busy attending his children’s sporting activities and coaching youth hockey.
